Your terminal agent, on the team’s board

One line in your repo connects Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to the workspace over MCP. Your local agent reads the board, moves tickets, answers colleagues and shows up live in the sidebar while it works — on your own machine, your own plan, no Decisive credits.

One-line install· Free on every plan· Runs on your own subscription

The agent doing the work is invisible to everyone else

Your terminal agent has the repo, the tests and your whole afternoon — and the rest of the team has no idea it exists. The ticket sits in Todo while the branch is half-written, and two people can start the same thing without ever finding out.

Two agents, one ticket

Nothing tells your teammate’s agent that yours started on T-943 an hour ago.

The board is a separate chore

Updating it means leaving the terminal, so it happens at the end of the day, or not at all.

Your agent can’t see the context

The decision that explains the constraint is in the workspace. Your agent is in a folder.

How it works

01

Run one line in the repo

`curl -fsSL https://decisive.rocks/install | sh` writes an `.mcp.json`, a workflow file, the guard that keeps it scoped to this repo, an example page and a pointer in your agent instructions. Nothing you wrote is overwritten.

02

Commit it

Anyone who clones the repo is already connected and just signs in as themselves. No per-person setup.

03

Work as normal

Your agent reads tasks, comments, discussions and docs, moves tickets, and talks to the team — from the terminal, without you switching windows.

The specifics

It shows up live

A coding mark appears next to your name in the sidebar while your agent works — hover it for the ticket — and the task gets a live badge and moves itself.

It reads both ways

An agent starting on a ticket is told when a teammate’s AI is already on it, so overlaps get flagged instead of built twice.

It stays in the repo

Your agent posts to the workspace only while working on that repo’s project — never from another folder, never for something personal. Turn it down to ask-first or off in `.decisive/config.json`, or connect a client read-only.

It costs no credits

That agent runs on your machine and your own Claude or Codex plan. Credits are only spent when Decisive runs the model.

Not a paid feature

The MCP server is free on every plan, Free included — along with the whole multiplayer side of the product.
